Overview

Two pages for GEM School’s annual fundraiser: an event page and a sponsorship page with Stripe installment payments.

Pages I built

Challenge

The designs came as Claude artifacts, not Figma files, and had to be rebuilt in Webflow to match the existing site rather than sit next to it as one-off pages. The bigger problem was payments: the client wanted sponsors to pay large amounts in installments, and their existing GiveForms setup could not do that.

Approach

Rebuilt both artifacts in Webflow on the site's existing typography, colours and components, and designed the parts the artifacts did not cover. Worked through my Jaryah colleague who runs the GEM account, and with the GEM team directly. For payments, I proposed connecting Webflow straight to Stripe, and the client approved it.

Solution

Every sponsorship tier has five Stripe Payment Links: pay in full, or monthly over 3, 6, 9 or 12 months. Installment plans end automatically after the last payment, and ACH bank transfer is on, so large sponsorships avoid card limits and high card fees.

Results

  • A $50,000 Diamond sponsorship can now be split into monthly payments over up to 12 months, which GiveForms could not do
  • 5 tiers × 5 payment options = 25 Stripe checkout options, with no custom backend
  • Installment plans stop on their own after the final payment
  • ACH bank transfer enabled for large sponsorships
  • Two pages that match the existing GEM site, built from AI design drafts
