Privacy policy
What this site collects, why, and how to get it removed. Last updated October 23, 2026.
Who I am
This site is run by Abdullah Shahzad, an independent web developer based in Lahore, Pakistan. For any privacy question, email hello@mabdullahshahzad.com.
Analytics (only with your consent)
I use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand which pages people read and where the site can be improved. Clarity records how visitors scroll and click, with text in forms masked.
Both tools stay off until you click Accept in the cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time with the link in the footer.
Cookies used
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics 4 | Counts visits and pages viewed | Up to 2 years |
_clck | Microsoft Clarity | Recognises a returning browser | 1 year |
_clsk | Microsoft Clarity | Groups page views into one session | 1 day |
cookie-consent | This site (local storage) | Remembers your cookie choice | Until you clear it |
Contact form
When you send a message through the contact form, the details you enter (such as your name, email, project type and message) are sent by Web3Forms to my email inbox. I use them only to reply to you and to discuss your project. I do not sell or share them, and I do not add you to a mailing list.
Hosting and third-party services
The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and performance. A small scrolling script is loaded from the jsDelivr CDN. These providers process data under their own privacy policies.
How long data is kept
Contact form messages stay in my email for as long as they are useful for our project conversation, and I delete them on request. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under UK and EU data protection law, you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data I hold about you, or object to how it is used. Email hello@mabdullahshahzad.com and I will reply within 30 days.
